Please pray for a friend, who was a Past LWML Oregon District President and a mentor and dear friend of mine. I received a call this morning saying she had a stroke last night and is in the hospital. I have not had any updates since early this morning. Prayers for her and her husband.

Prayers for our daughter-in-law, and many other teachers, students and parents.  She is a 4th grade teacher at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, WI.  December 16, 2024, there was a school shooting at the school, in the classroom directly across from our daughter-in-law. 3 people died, including the 15 year old shooter who took her own life.  Our daughter-in-law lost a close teacher friend, a former student and 2 other former students were critically injured.  

The upcoming anniversary of the shooting is going to be very difficult for everyone. Our daughter-in-law says the closer that day gets, the harder it is.  They will be having a special day of school that day with lots of support from counselors and clergy. Our daughter-in-law deals with PTSD. She is stronger than we ever knew that she could be, going back to teaching after that and being very compassionate and supportive to others.  ​

Please pray for friends in Scappoose, He is scheduled to have brain surgery on Wednesday (12/3) to remove a tumor that is pressing on the area above his left eye and causing vision problems. Prayers for the doctors and that the surgery goes well. He will be in the hospital for 5-7 days for recovery.

Please pray for a sister who has a brain tumor. Her operation is on Wednesday at Mayo Phoenix. Her family is with her. Please pray for surgeons, medical professionals, and her family. Give Peace for all as well.

Prayers for a sister who is scheduled to have exploratory surgery on Tuesday, 11/11 to see if the doctors can determine what is causing some health issues she is experiencing. Prayers for her and for the brother-in-law.

​Please pray for A son and his family for the Holy Spirit to move their hearts to return to the faith and to decide to have their children baptized.
