Our 8 year old grandson is very ill with bacterial pneumonia. He has had multiple trips to Urgent Care and the ER. Please pray for Eli and all the family.

Please pray one of our members. She went into the hospital at Riverbend on Friday with a bacterial infection in her throat and on antibiotics. She was in ICU, but has now been moved to a regular room. She still has some infection and high blood pressure. Please pray for healing and for peace of mind and comfort for her and for her daughters.
Update: I heard from her sister this morning. Our member is being discharged from the hospital, being sent home with medications. Prayers for her continued improvement. Please pray for our member who is experiencing another UTI and is feeling discouraged with health issues.
A high school friend living in Michigan has had a lot of trouble in life and currently has enormous health issues with his heart and after-effects of Covid. Currently can’t sleep due to med side effects and anxiety. There is not much medical care available in his town, and counseling and church options are very limited. He knows the Lord, but is desperate. He asked to be added to our prayer list. Please pray for healing and rest, and hope in Jesus.
Please pray for one of or members sister, who is in the hospital in Modesto CA with Influenza-Type A. She is on oxygen and IV fluids. Feeling some better now, but also has heart and liver issues. Her adult children are with her or nearby.
One of our Church's retired secretary had a stroke on Christmas Eve. She had a brain bleed and has some bleeding intestinally, but they are just watching it. She is able to be up in a chair and knows who we all are. Today she is being moved to a rehab hospital in Gilbert, AZ. Her Daughter is asking for prayers , that she is able to do the therapy hours required to stay there and they estimate 14-21 days to get her up and walking with a walker.
A past member who was the Grace secretary from 1981-2001. On Christmas Eve she had a stroke and a brain bleed. She is still in ICU, and they are still watching the brain bleed. But she sat up in the chair and ate lunch and dinner yesterday. Her Pastor also came and she asked him to pray for healing for her. If she progresses, best case is probably assisted living but not back to her home. But we will see--that is in God’s hands.
Prayers for our daughter-in-law, and many other teachers, students and parents. She is a 4th grade teacher at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, WI. December 16, 2024, there was a school shooting at the school, in the classroom directly across from our daughter-in-law. 3 people died, including the 15 year old shooter who took her own life. Our daughter-in-law lost a close teacher friend, a former student and 2 other former students were critically injured.
The upcoming anniversary of the shooting is going to be very difficult for everyone. Our daughter-in-law says the closer that day gets, the harder it is. They will be having a special day of school that day with lots of support from counselors and clergy. Our daughter-in-law deals with PTSD. She is stronger than we ever knew that she could be, going back to teaching after that and being very compassionate and supportive to others. I was at the doctor’s Friday (Oct 17) as my leg was swollen. I have a blood clot and was put on blood thinners. Please keep me and my leg in your prayers.
Gracious God, our heavenly Father,
You are the source of all healing and comfort. Look with mercy upon Your servant who is ill. Grant strength to their body, peace to their mind, and renewal to their spirit. Bless the hands of those who care for them, and guide all medical decisions. According to Your will, restore them to health, or grant them grace to endure. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. |
