Hello, The following message is from the Lane County
We want to keep you informed of the status of your preregistration for the COVID-19 vaccine. While you may not have been contacted yet to schedule an appointment, even if you are eligible, please know that we, along with our vaccinating health partners, are working as quickly as we can to get vaccine to people in the eligible phases/groups. As always, our ability to vaccinate is dependent on supply.
You'll find information below on supply distribution, who is currently eligible and who will be eligible next.
Due to severe winter weather experienced in may places of the country this past week, vaccine supply shipments have been delayed, forcing us to postpone our booster (2nd dose) clinics for this weekend.
Individuals who have been affected by the postponement have been sent a separate communication regarding rescheduling their appointment. If you are one of those people and did not receive it, please check your spam filter. About 10% of those we email report scheduling messages ending up in their SPAM folder.
Currently Eligible:
Phase 1A: Groups 1-4 (click here for a full list of who that is)
Phase 1B: Group 1 (those who work in public and private k-12 schools, those who work in early learning, and those who work in childcare facilities).
Phase 1B: Groups 2-3, Wave 1-2 (community members who are 75 years of age and older)
Next Group To Be Eligible (beginning February 22):
Phase 1b Group 2, Wave 3 (community members who are 70 years of age and older)
Doses Available For Each Eligible Group For This Week 2/15-2/21:
Phase 1a Groups 1-4: 0 doses
Phase 1b Group 1: 525 doses
Phase 1b Group 2-3, Waves 1-2 (80+): 2,400 doses
Approximate Number of Individuals in Eligible Groups:
Phase 1a Groups 1-4: 40,000 people
Phase 1b Group 1: 10,000 people
Phase 1b Groups 2-3, Waves 1-2 (75+): 28,253 people
Many people who are currently eligible have not received a scheduling appointment simply because we do not have enough doses for everyone.
If you are receiving this email, you will receive an appointment to receive the vaccine as soon when you are eligible and when we have enough doses. We greatly appreciate your continued patience.
How does scheduling work?
If you are receiving this email, we will send you an email with a link which will take you to a scheduling form.
For those who do not have email, or indicated that they prefer phone communication, we will be calling them to make an appointment when they are eligible and we have enough doses.
Thank you,
